On a rainy day, a custodian at the shoe-keeping area of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) observed that a luminous scholar (Ayatollah Bahjat), while receiving his shoes, placed the mud and dirt from the bottom of the pilgrims' shoes upon his eyes with the utmost humility. He and great Shia scholars such as Ayatollah Boroujerdi and Imam Khomeini achieved high levels of knowledge and spirituality through their humility and reverence at the threshold of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), especially the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).
